GaLaBau 2026 - Climate-Ready for the Future
From 15 to 18 September 2026, Nuremberg will host GaLaBau, the world's leading trade fair for the design, construction and maintenance of green and open spaces. Four days in which landscapers, designers and companies from all over the world meet to understand where the sector is going.
This year's theme is “Climate-Ready for the Future”: how green and outdoor building respond to climate challenges. Not a contour theme, but the question that today guides every outdoor project, from water management to the durability of materials, from the comfort of spaces to their impact over time.
Why we're here
We think it is right to be there because it is in these contexts that the directions to be given to our sector are decided, our task is certainly to help trace those routes.
Outdoor raised flooring is our field. The systems we design lie beneath the surfaces of open spaces and determine their success: flattening, keeping over time, ease of installation. Attending the event in which this sector compares itself is not a choice of visibility. It is the natural consequence of who we are and what we do.
And it is also the way in which we interpret our role: to make available to those who design and those who lay what we know how to do. An appointment like GaLaBau is not a showcase, it is a service we offer to those approaching the raised floor for the first time or as a professional.
Innovation is born in the field
Our patents are not born in the abstract. They arise from the real problems of the construction site. From the first self-levelling support for raised floors forward, we develop technologies that simplify the way you build outdoors.
The constant link between research and construction is the engine of all our lines — Pedestal, GRF, Woodeck System. We continue to invest in development for only one goal: to anticipate the needs of those who design and those who pose. Each of our solutions answers the same question: how can we do better?
Designing outdoors means designing with the climate
An outdoor space lives on its relationship with water, with greenery, with time. Our solutions for raised flooring from the outside are ready for these challenges.
Dry laying allows rainwater to drain instead of holding it back. The system is disassembled and reassembled without demolition, and the materials are recovered at the end of life. The same structure welcomes stoneware, wood and synthetic grass: a single solution, multiple ways of carrying out the project. Not a sustainable product added at the end, but sustainability as part of the way we build.
Sharing knowledge is part of the product
We believe that innovation is only useful when it is shared. A well-designed system is only really worth it if those who install it know how to make the most of it.
This is why training is part of our work, not a marginal service. Through the Eterno Ivica Academy we put our know-how at the disposal of designers and installers: how to choose the right solution, how to install it correctly, how to obtain the best result.
Those who approach the raised floor from the outside for the first time find an interlocutor. Those who know her already find a partner to grow up with.
